American tech entrepreneur Earick has dismissed submitting an official acquisition offer for Tottenham.

Tottenham had before “unequivocally rejected” an preliminary inquiry from a consortium headed by Brooklyn Earick last month and maintained the organization was not for sale.

But UK takeover and merger rules required that, after an expression of interest turned down, the interested parties needed to make an offer by late October or state they would refrain.

Verification of the decision was made in a release released by Tottenham to the financial markets, stating the team is “not in an acquisition window.”

The entrepreneur published an snapshot of the statement on online platforms, adding: “I've had a pleasure interacting with Spurs and the Lewis family's representatives over the past few weeks.

“I hold great respect for the organization, its executives, and its followers, and hope for nothing but success.”

Tottenham's directors acknowledged the consortium for its “constructive approach” in negotiations and for “honoring the definitive view” of the owners that the organization is off the market.

Brooklyn Earick is a former DJ who also was employed in spacecraft research for NASA before establishing the innovation company, which focuses on tech, entertainment, sport and entertainment.

The informal offer was the latest expression of interest turned down by the team's directors since the sudden departure of top executive Daniel Levy in September.

Earlier in September, the club turned down offers from previous club stakeholder Amanda Staveley's PCP International and a consortium spearheaded by Roger Kennedy and the co-investor through the holding company.
